The Arizona Diamondbacks have agreed to a contract extension with Ketel Marte, according to sources.
The deal, which is for five years and is worth $76 million, includes around $51 million in new money for the 28-year-old.
The agreement covers two existing option years for 2023 and '24 and also adds on 2025, '26 and '27 to Marte's contract.
Marte hit .318/.377/.532 in 340 at-bats in 2021.
